Honestly, Facebook is just a place where everyone can talk either shit, drama, love, and happiness. However most of the things DO NOT need to be said to the entire general public. If people want attention then that is what your friends are for. If you want to talk shit then walk up to the person or people and tell them how you feel. The entire emotional content is gone once it is written because human beings can vaguely grasp the concepts behind a single word when it is said to their face. Now think how many possibilities there are from just a single word. Take “Hey” for example.
“Hey.” (What’s up)
“Hey.” (Depressed)
“Hey.” (Bored)
“Hey.” (Mad)
Those are only some of the examples that a single word can have and they even have the same punctuation. Without personal interaction, how can someone always know what you mean? Also I would like to mention to any sympathizers that there are two sides to every story and sometimes many more. If you truly want to help someone then get to know both sides of the stories. I am not throwing a pity party, I am not looking to be mean, I am not trying to act all high and mighty, I am not trying to say that anyone siding with their friends, family, etc. is in the wrong. I am just simply stating that not every human being has the same scenario for every sentence said and that Facebook, Tumblr, MeetMe, twitter, or any other social sites are not the best places to understand a situation.
